Joey Logano Says That There Are A Lot of Unknowns, Still

The 2018 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Joey Logano, appeared on Dirty Mo Media’s Behind the Wheel, where he opened up about how there are still many unknowns.

Logano was asked if he felt confident going to Richmond, which has been his best track in the past few years. Interestingly enough, he replied with a firm “No!”. He then mentions that his lack of confidence is because “It’s a brand-new car and I don’t know what’s gonna happen”. He then added, “Martinville is kinda the same thing, like the clash (Clash At The Coliseum) and this is a little bigger, but the tracks are still a lot different. The Clash had brand new asphalt and shorter runs, where you have 500 laps here, you have seen the short run vs long run car”.

Logano does have a point, especially considering how unpredictable racing has been so far. We can’t quite vouch for anything with the brand new cars because it’s too soon to know what to expect. It will be fascinating to see whether Martinsville will be a good race for Joey Logano.
