Thinking of a NASCAR Cup Series driver whom fans do not worship so much, one name comes to mind. That is none other than Joey Logano, the 2024 Cup Series champion. He skyrocketed to a jaw-dropping title last year after almost getting eliminated from the Round of 8 playoffs. This year, his run from 27th-place to 1st in Texas was impressive, yet fans did not appreciate the race as much due to persistent Next-Gen car issues. Yet Logano recently managed to reverse this gloomy perception of him.

“The sport changes so quickly. It’s crazy how you can just ride these rollercoasters and just proud of the team. Finally got (sponsor) AAA Insurance into Victory Lane. They’ve been a partner of mine since I’ve been to Penske, so 13, 14 years. I’ve yet to win with them. It was awesome to get that done here,” he said at the time. Now there’s something special going on for Logano, as the driver scores bonus points with the fans.

The three-time Cup Series champion shares a lovely bond with his wife. Joey Logano met his wife, Brittany, at his family’s ice skating rink as teenagers. Their high-school romance blossomed into a beautiful marriage as both share three children. In addition, Joey and Brittany share a fun relationship as well, being partners in funny pursuits. So the couple recently participated in an innovative program by Ford Performance. Logano has driven for Ford since his early days in Cup Series racing, specifically in 2013 when he joined Team Penske. The star has delivered 37 race victories and three Cup titles over the years to the OEM. Recently, Ford decided to feature him in a comedic advertisement video along with his wife.

Mimicking a sensational spy movie, Joey Logano and his wife, Brittany, donned different apparel. They went undercover as an unrecognizable couple, Henry and Lynn. They pretended to go into a Ford shop and test-drive Ford’s latest model, the 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor SUV. The official Instagram account of Ford posted a caption alongside this new commercial: “Disguises. A dealership. And one WILD test drive. @JoeyLogano and Brittany go full undercover to push the #BroncoRaptor to the limit. Let’s just say the salesman’s heart rate was faster than Joey’s lap times. 🤯”

Joey Logano set the tone for the video: “Hey, it is Joey and Brittany, but today, we are Henry,” and Brittany added, “Lynn.” Well, for a NASCAR Cup Series driver, knowing roads must be a talent at the back of their hands. Yet Logano hilariously tells the salesman, Joe, “To know where we’re going, I always bring a map”, while taking out a physical paper map.

Then Logano takes the salesman and his wife for a wild ride in the rain, maxing out the Ford expert’s nervousness meter. Then, another Ford employee comes to the window of the car, visibly shocked and amazed at the mysterious test driver’s driving skills. Then Logano adds, “It was Joe’s idea.”

Now, the driver hinted at this late last year on the SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. He said, ““It’s not out yet, but I’m gonna do a little teaser here for you,” Logano said. “Ford asked me to go undercover and just with a disguise—my wife and I—to go to the Huntersville Ford and buy a car undercover and it was awesome. Here’s the deal, guys, we’re third-generation chicken farmers from Arkansas. We just moved to North Carolina and we needed a vehicle. And it’s priceless. I can’t share with you yet because Ford will get really upset if I share it too soon, but it is hilarious. This salesman—his name was Joe. We scared the hell out of him. We went in the woods. He thought he was getting fired. It was great.” 

Well, Joey Logano and his wife, Brittany, definitely went for a fun ride from Ford’s showroom. What is more, they offered a hilarious ride to their fans as well.

Logano successfully tickles the NASCAR community 

Well, this is not the first time that the Logano couple went for an undercover ride. Joey Logano and Brittany have been in cahoots for another humorous promotion for Ford in December 2024. They got to try out the new 2025 Ford GTD while disguised as another couple. They ‘scared’ yet another car salesman back then, so fans gleefully reacted to their latest antics. “You two are hilarious!” somebody commented. Many people were delighted to see Brittany Logano’s superior acting skills. When Logano checked up on his wife in the car, she gave the apt response, and one fan reflected on that. They wrote, “I am nooot okay 🤣 she said ya know what, I’m good 😂 nailed ittt.” Brittany’s outfit also dazzled some eyes – she wore a cap with a glittering ‘QUEEN’ written on it. So somebody wrote, “I also want a Cap with Queen😅”

Some prominent personalities also commented on the comedic advertisement. Vaughn Gittin Jr., a world champion drifter, off-road racing champion, joined in the fun comments. Being a Ford Mustang racer himself, Gittin Jr. dropped his hopes for a follow-up commercial featuring Joey Logano. He wrote, “Amazing! Looking forward to this.” Then the Instagram account of Team Penske itself also hopped aboard. The stellar Cup Series team is pumped up for its OEM’s new venture. It wrote, “We can’t wait. 😂” Logano himself peeped into the comments section, revealing his and his wife’s double identities. “Henry & Lynn here 👋”

Evidently, Joey Logano and his wife are officially on Ford’s fun bandwagon. With this spectacular addition to Logano’s already happening season, brighter things are sure to follow!
