NASCAR is set to host an Xfinity Series race, and Justin Haley has bagged pole position at the Talladega Superspeedway. The 21-year old is on the hunt for his first career Xfinity Series victory. Heading into this Sunday’s race, Haley lies seventh in the championship standings and eager to climb up the order.

However, he will not have things easy, especially with Michael Annett, Ryan Sieg, Chase Briscoe and Noah Gragson behind him. Haley has a huge task ahead of him because Briscoe is one of four drivers vying for the Dash 4 Cash.

The three other contenders are Brandon Jones, Ross Chastain and AJ Allmendinger. Jones is set to start sixth, with Chastain three places behind. Meanwhile, Allmendinger has his work cut out for him all the way down in 34th.

What is the NASCAR Dash for Cash?

The Dash 4 Cash initiative for NASCAR Xfinity Series sees four drivers competing for a $100,000 prize. Over here, the first of the four Dash 4 Cash competitors to finish at Talladega will win the cash bonus. In addition to that, the winner and the next three highest finishing Xfinity Series drivers will qualify for the next event.

Aside from this, Xfinity plans to make donations in each Dash 4 Cash race market. The company is fully committed to connecting families, veterans and seniors to digital tools. During these trying times of the coronavirus crisis, connectivity has become all the more important.

In the last three Xfinity races, Haley finished 6th at Miami, but failed to qualify for the other two. Fortunately, he has a chance for redemption at Talladega, especially since he is on pole position. The big question is, can Justin Haley hold onto the lead and win the $100,000 cash prize? Or will the other Dash for Cash drivers spoil the party and snatch the cash prize from his grasp?
