We see NASCAR Cup Series drivers in truck races all the time. In fact, many cup drivers run trucks to practice before racing in the Cup cars. However, what we don’t see often is Cup Series Team Owners race in the Truck series. But that might just change. And the fans are pointing their finger at Justin Marks.

In a recent interview, Niece Motorsports’ General Manager, Cody Efaw, revealed something very fascinating. Although, he said, “there will be a Ross Chastain Spotting,” that’s not the most important part of the interview.

The most important thing that Cody revealed is “There might be a Cup team owner in a Truck. There’s some stuff I’ll throw out there that might be happening.”

Of course, this caught everyone off guard, and no one was expecting it. So, the fans got to their own theories on who could it be Amid all this, many fans thought it will be Justin Marks.

It does make sense because Justin Marks raced in the Cup Series till 2018, and Trucks before that. Moreover, Ross Chastain will probably run in a Niece Motorsports truck, linking more between the two, considering, Justin Marks is co-owning the team that the Watermelon Man drives for.

But fans had other guesses too!

At the end of the day, we can only guess. Only time can tell which team owner will really be running a truck.

Justin Marks Is Not Surprised That His Team Is Winning Races

Trackhouse Racing is a Cup series team owned by a retired driver, Justin Marks, and Rapper, Pitbull. It’s safe to say that Trackhouse has exceeded everyone’s expectations, after winning three races this season along with one All-Star win.

And, team Co-owner, Justin Marks isn’t surprised that they are winning as he said, “I tell people I’m not surprised that we’re a winning race team because I wouldn’t have started this project if I didn’t think, truly believe, that the opportunity existed to build a new race team in this sport that could win,”

Although, he didn’t expect the team to find pace so soon as he added,

 “It’s just happened really quickly. That’s been the surprise.”

“We’ve got such great people that work so hard. The promise of this car is being delivered every single weekend.”

Finally, it’s really fascinating how a Cup Series team owner will race in the Truck series. Although, we don’t know who it is yet, who do you think it will be?
