Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) has announced its full-time entries competing for the Late-Model and Super-Late Model Stock car events for the 2024 season. Brent Crews will lead the KHI charge in the CARS tours on the Late Model front piloting the No.29 Toyota Camry. Whereas, the likes of Josh Berry, Layne Riggs, William Sawalich and Landen Lewis will share the duties of driving No.62. The four drivers will also feature in select Super Late Model events for the season.

KHI is currently serves as a sports marketing & celebrity marketing giant, but that was not its initial vision. The company has a history of fielding cars in the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series races since its inception in 2002. So they were a full-time operating racing company. Unfortunately, back in 2011, they decided to close the curtains on the project and announced their merger with Richard Childress Racing. Since then, they’ve expanded their project outside the racetracks, managing athletes as a marketing agency.

However, the recent return of FHI as a racing team has fueled new hopes and aspirations as they will feature in Late and Super Late Model events for 2024. No wonder, this has got Harvick’s wife all hyped up for the KHI’s return, terming it a new beginning.

DeLana in disbelief with KHI’s return to racing

When KHI ceased its operation as a racing team, it was a blow to Kevin Harvick’s dream of running and owning a racing team. Back then, he had priorities on his personal front that needed his attention. The priority was winning the Cup Series championship, a feat he achieved in 2014. Now that his chapter as a race car driver is closed, it has ushered his vision of owning a team back alive and 2024 will see them scripting it’s 2.0 version, as stated by his wife DeLana.

Exciting and pumped for the return of KHI as a racing team in 2024, DeLana took to her X account and posted, “KHI 2.0 who woulda thunk it?!?!? Certainly not me. 🧐 Yet here we are.” DeLana’s excitement is understood as she was also a founding member of the firm.

Kevin Harvick was elated to get back to competing on the race track alongside running a successful business company too. “With KHI Management representing drivers with all levels of experience, it felt like a good opportunity to jump back into full-time competition. We love to compete and it brings all aspects of our business together on the track,” Harvick said.
