A while ago, Alex Bowman took a cheeky jab at Kyle Busch after his Las Vegas Motor Speedway win. In the Alex Bowman Racing official store, he announced that 18% of the proceedings will go to animal shelters. Additionally, the T-shirts on his store had the message, ‘Backing into wins’ on the back of the T-shirts. Obviously, it was a dig at Busch screaming about him backing into the win.

Now, it seems that Kyle Busch got his revenge on Bowman. Apparently, a large number of T-shirts on the Kyle Busch store have a 48% discount. This was a reference to Bowman’s racing number, as he drives the #48 Hendrick Motorsports car. Other items included some T-shirts celebrating his 2019 Cup Series championship.

What next for Kyle Busch in the 2022 NASCAR Cup season?

Of course, Busch was gutted to lose out on a win to Bowman. This was because he had fought his way up from the back of the grid and ultimately finished 4th. Admittedly, Kyle Busch had a tough start to his race weekend. This is because he crashed out in practice and could not take part in qualifying.

The Joe Gibbs Racing team managed to scramble a spare car for Busch. However, it meant that he had to start at the back of the grid. This was pretty much a recipe to start his comeback story from dead last. Unfortunately, a few ill-timed cautions hampered his progress. The most costly moment came when Erik Jones crashed out, and Bubba Wallace swerved to avoid him.

Nevertheless, the #18 driver tried to take advantage of a batch of fresh tyres to hunt down the Chevrolet contingent. Sadly, it was far too late, and he was forced to settle for 4th place. On the bright side, he was the best of the Toyotas and even managed to defeat the Ford drivers.
