Kyle Busch Has a Very Kyle Busch Response to His Chances of Winning the NASCAR Cup Championship This Season

If there’s one driver you can count on being consistent, both inside and outside the racecar, it’s Kyle Busch. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver is one of the best in business when it comes to racing, and he’s also one of the best in business when it comes to ‘speaking’ about racing.

Busch is infamous for his bluntness and his brutal honesty ranging from anything to everything. This is a feature of his personality that has earned him just as many fans as he has haters.
So when he was asked why he thinks he would win the Cup championship this season, Kyle Busch answered in how you would normally expect him to answer.

“I feel with my expertise and my feelings inside the racecar, being able to describe those things to the crew,” Busch said.
“(And) as long as the crew can do a good job wrapping their heads around everything I’m feeling and being able to adjust the racecar to make it better for me to give me the grip that I need, we’ll have good success.”

“Pure talent” – When Kyle Busch used ‘pure wit’ on his own pit crew in 2018
After the Truck Series race at Charlotte in 2018 in which he finished second after rallying from the back twice, Kyle Busch was asked how he managed to conjure up such a finish under such circumstances.
“Pure talent,” Busch replied. “That’s about it. My pit crew did absolutely nothing to help me out tonight. My truck drove like s—!”

Busch then went on to berate his truck’s front splitters and ranted how the “horrendous” splitters were the reason he couldn’t pass in traffic, how he couldn’t race alongside anyone, how he couldn’t even get within five truck lengths of his competitors.
