Back in 2010, there was an amusing incident that unfolded at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Ahead of the Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol, the drivers were doing their pre-race introductions. Then, Brad Keselowski decided to become a little cheeky and take a sly dig at Kyle Busch.

When Busch had the microphone, he declared that he was ready to win it again at the Bristol Motor Speedway. However, when Keselowski had the mic, he said, “Brad Keselowski, driver of the Penske Racing Dodge, Kyle Busch is an a**!”

Needless to say, that provocative statement was greeted by cheers from the crowd. Interestingly, that moment was actually pre-mediated, because he and former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya were discussing it.

However, the Colombian driver abstained from making the declaration. So Keselowski figured that nothing ventured was nothing gained, and he executed the plan.

Why did Brad Keselowski do this to Kyle Busch?

Apparently, Busch intentionally wrecked Keselowski during the Nationwide race at the same track. Obviously, that was still a sore subject for Keselowski, and he wanted to get back at Busch for the stunt.

Judging by the cheers from the grandstands when he insulted Busch, the fans were on the same page. For his part, Kyle Busch took the jab like a sport and responded in kind. He said, “Who? I don’t know who you’re talking about.”

Unfortunately, Keselowski did not enjoy a great day in the office, as he only finished 19th. Meanwhile, Busch won that race in Bristol, which was cruelly ironic.
