Kyle Busch Slammed for “Sh*t” NASCAR Announcement as Jimmie Johnson Tease Fails to Save the Day

Earlier, Kyle Busch had stated that he would have a surprise announcement during the Phoenix race weekend. Well as it turns out the announcements have arrived, but instead of a surprise, it has mostly left fans in a bad mood. Busch’s recent KBM lineup announcement got fans so irritated that the next big announcement was completely overshadowed.

A NASCAR journalist tweeted, Kyle Busch Motorsports Truck Series News: – @chasepurdy12 will join  @KBMteam as the driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado in 2023. – @DriverJackWood will drive the No. 51 Chevrolet Silverado as the anchor driver to be shared with other drivers throughout the season.

As per the announcement, KBM will only be running two cars, the #4 and #51 to be exact and the drivers in the lineup are, Chase Purdy and Jack Wood. At best, they can be regarded as mid-tier drivers.

Aside from this announcement, another journalist pointed out that Kyle Busch had mentioned, @KyleBusch hinted @JimmieJohnson could run a race in @KBMteam‘s all-star truck in 2023 Says any #Indy500 opportunities for himself next year have ‘dried up.’

Fans not impressed by Kyle Busch’s announcement

Even after the Jimmie Johnson tease, fans were extremely unhappy, mostly because of the lineup announcement. Fans soon clamored over Twitter and expressed their displeasure towards the announcement.

Fans think that the deal was purely in place for the commercial reasons, and not because of their raw talent.

Well, fans now think that Busch has set his team up for one final shot at the championship, however they aren’t very optimistic with the new lineup. It should also be noted that the major changes within KBM are mostly surrounding the fact that the team will be running Chevrolet cars from next season.
