This season, Kyle Busch is definitely trying to live up to his nickname, ‘The Candyman’. For the coming race at the Martinsville Speedway, Busch will run a new livery inspired by Snickers chocolate. This is hardly the first time the #18 driver unveiled a special livery, but he has to fulfill sponsorship duties.

This race weekend, Busch will run a predominantly purple colored car with the Snickers logo. From the looks of it, Busch will be advertising the brand’s peanut brownie squares for the Martinsville race. At this point, one would think that the Las Vegas native will turn up to every race in a different-liveried car.

All joking aside, Busch will be keen to snag a win at last. He has come close on multiple occasions this year, but never quite went all the way. Since this season he seems determined to produce a different winner at every race, Kyle Busch will be hoping that he will be the next one. Of course, there are plenty of other drivers who are also vying for that role and he will have to fight them all off.

Kyle Busch really needs this win to boost his confidence

Although the 35-year-old has yet to reach Victory Lane, no one can say that he is not capable. Busch is the 2015 and 2019 Cup Series champion and the Joe Gibbs Racing car is one of the best teams on the track. Unfortunately, he endured a nightmarish season in 2020, only coming away with one win.

This year, Busch has performed marginally better, finishing in the top five on two occasions. However, he will be determined to go a step further, especially since there are still plenty more races left on the calendar. If he manages to win, he will be a step closer to being the only driver to notch up the most consecutive seasons with a win.
