Recently, Kyle Busch posted a video of himself with his son at the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout. In all honesty, Busch is a hugely polarizing figure in the NASCAR community. This means that you can either love him or hate him, and there is no in-between. However, that is just in regard to his on-track persona, which is unpredictable. On the other hand, Kyle Busch the family man, is a completely different person.

With this video clip, people got to see what he was like as an individual. To say that everyone liked what they saw is a massive understatement. In fact, one particular fan confessed that he used to boo the Joe Gibbs Racing driver for well over a decade. With this video, he is now well on his way to becoming a fan of the #18 driver.

What did Kyle Busch say about the new addition to his fanbase?
The 2015 and 2019 Cup Series champion noticed the new fan and got cheeky with his welcome speech. He quipped, “Welcome to the dark side, the water’s great.“

This prompted a few fans into sharing their stories on how they were tempted to join ‘the dark side’. Busch definitely had a blast on social media, responding to the various stories, and he was loving it. It is also worth noting that he sometimes has the tendency to engage with people on social media often leading to virtual banter and arguments.

On a more serious note, Busch will be looking forward to the 2022 Cup Series season. He knows that it is another opportunity to try and nab his third title. With the 2022 Gen 7 cars being a massive step into the unknown in terms of race scenarios, everything is up for grabs. In other words, Kyle Busch will be primed to strike while the iron is hot and eke out an advantage over his rivals.
