If there is an epitome of growth and resilience in NASCAR, you can find it in the Busch family. Two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch leads the way on the racetrack. Although he struck a rocky patch after winning 3 races in the first half of 2023, the veteran is still focused on growing. Similarly, his better half has waded through countless fertility and health struggles – which makes Samantha Busch a true pillar of the family.

Their eldest child cannot help but notice his powerful mother’s prowess. Brexton Busch is on the way to be the family’s torchbearer in racing, making a name for himself in dirt racing. As he charts his own path to progress, he cannot help but submit to his mother’s charisma in a fun encounter.

Sweet exchange inside Kyle Busch’s family

Brexton Busch is steadily growing in the world of motorsports. He was 5 when he began his racing career in 2020. He competed in the Beginner Box Stock Division at Millbridge Speedway. Brexton was barely a month into his career when he recorded his first win at Mountain Creek. From then on, it has been a steady climb – this year; he clinched 8 feature wins in the POWRi Junior Sprint League.

Similarly, he is maturing in terms of age as well – now Brexton is 9 years old. That has brought his father’s attention, as Kyle Busch intends to enroll him in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series when he turns 15. Now Busch’s better half is also taking note.

Brexton and Samantha posted an Instagram reel recently, as the mother-son duo could be seen exchanging friendly banter. Kyle Busch‘s eldest jogged happily to his mother and flaunted his new hair-do that he did with his dad. Then Samantha asked him cheekily, “Getting that haircut for a special someone?” Then Brexton responded, “You,” and we see an ecstatic Samantha offering her son an adorable hug. She added, noting Brexton’s fast growth, “I’m not ready for you to have a girlfriend.”

Yet Kyle Busch’s little guy revealed his thoughts about the other gender. “Girls are bossy!”

This surprised Samantha, and as she probed further, she discovered Brexton’s first clue came from his mom. Having a charismatic mother like Samantha is bound to produce such a notion. Besides being a strong mother, she is an entrepreneur, a lifestyle blogger, and an IVF advocate. She used her own fertility struggles to inspire other women. Samantha and Kyle Busch helped almost 100 couples to go through IVF via their Bundle of Joy fund.

And that is not all, as Samantha overcame a mountain of struggles in her maternal journey.

Beating the harshest obstacles

Fertility problems can be earth-shattering for couples who want a baby. It was an emotional and physical rollercoaster ride for Kyle Busch and his wife, Samantha. After Brexton Busch was born in 2015 via IVF treatments, they faced several failures in trying for Busch’s sister. During one particularly painful time following Samantha’s miscarriage, the couple was even considering divorce. “Kyle was my rock and it felt like I didn’t have that anymore,” Samantha said in 2021. “We were spiraling. It felt like divorce was real and it was scary.”

However, the Busch couple waded through their battles. Finally, their second bundle of joy became a thing of reality. In November 2021, they announced they were having a baby via a surrogate, and daughter Lennix Key Bush was born in May 2022. Even after taming the infertility monster, Samantha was determined to help out other people facing the same problem. “It’s been a long time coming. It’s been about 10 years to complete our family,” Samantha mentioned.

She continued, “We’re excited that it’s complete, but we’re not gonna stop our work. So we have the Bundle of Joy fund…It’s nice to use these bigger platforms to show people that one in eight couples will go through infertility, and kind of just how we’ve navigated the journey. It’s really exciting to see over the years just how the conversation around infertility has changed, and we’re happy to be a big part of that.”

No wonder Brexton Busch looks up to his mother’s dynamic personality. As he grows up, he may be the torchbearer of the resilience that the Busch family represents.
