Kyle Busch may be out of the championship hunt this season, but he is still among the top 10 drivers nominated for NASCAR’s fan-voted Most Popular Driver award. And while he is not taking victory laps on the track, his wife, Samantha Busch, is certainly finding her own way to win off it. Because earlier this year, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order supporting expanded access to IVF treatments, a cause Samantha Busch has advocated for for years.

Samantha, who has experienced her fair share of battles with infertility, was invited to the White House for the announcement. She publicly thanked Trump for championing the cause and was later certified as an official fertility coach, continuing her mission to help families struggling with infertility.

Samantha Busch leads IVF awareness amid recognition from Donald Trump

Samantha Busch has experienced her fair share of struggles. Along with Kyle Busch, the couple have openly spoken about their struggles in starting a family, revealing that IVF made it possible to have their two children, Brexton and Lennix. Unsurprisingly, the 39-year-old couldn’t help but get teary-eyed as she began her speech.

She said, “My husband Kyle and I battled infertility for over a decade before being blessed with our two beautiful children, Brexton, who’s 10, and our daughter Lennix, who’s now three… We faced the rollercoaster of hope and devastation that so many families know all too well. Through it all, we held onto faith, each other, and the belief that somehow, someday, God would turn our pain into purpose.”

Together, the couple has been running the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund since 2015, which helps raise awareness about infertility and provides grants to couples pursuing IVF. What began as their personal journey turned into a nationwide initiative, and for the Busch’s, that is a win bigger than any trophy. Perhaps that’s why Samantha Busch said in her speech, “We also saw firsthand the staggering financial burden that comes with infertility treatments… In that moment, Kyle and I looked at each other, and we knew God was planting a seed in our hearts, a calling to take action.”

Ever the proud husband, Kyle shared his admiration for her advocacy work on X, saying, “Your vision, strength, and resilience shine through in everything you do. I’m honored to stand by your side as you continue to chase dreams to make a difference. Congratulations on this incredible achievement! The future looks brighter for so many because of your efforts.”

And the Bundle of Joy Foundation has been flourishing ever since. As of now, the fund has awarded over $2,216,384 in grants to those facing infertility. They have issued 165 grants to date, helping 107 babies be conceived through such funded treatments. And now, with laws getting passed regarding IVF accessibility to future families, the couple’s vision is finally becoming a reality at a much bigger scale.

But amid all this, Donald Trump couldn’t help but heap praise on the two-time Cup Champion. He said, ” Kyle (Busch) is fantastic. He’s got a lot of courage. I wouldn’t do that; I wouldn’t care. Howard [Lutnick], you and I would not be good at that. We’d go about 30 miles an hour, but we’d be safe.”

A compliment from the President of the United States. Now that’s not something Kyle Busch would have had on his bingo card. But after a tough 2025 campaign, he’ll welcome it with open arms. ‘Rowdy’ hasn’t shied away from making note of his shortcomings with RCR, even though a recent 8th-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is another reason to be optimistic. With just a handful of races remaining, it remains to be seen if Busch will find his mojo back. And now, a change in 2026 may just make or break his NASCAR career.

Jim Pohlman  is set to steer Kyle Busch’s comeback at RCR

As Kyle Busch charts his way back to Victory Lane, Richard Childress Racing announced that Jim Pohlman will rejoin the team in 2026 and work as crew chief for the Nevada-native and the No. 8 Chevy. Pohlman previously worked at RCR as head of research and development before moving to JR Motorsports in 2023, where he led the No. 7 Chevrolet with Justin Allgaier. Together, they built a powerhouse Xfinity Series program, collecting nine wins, a Championship 4 berth in their debut season, and ultimately the 2024 Xfinity Series title.

Richard Childress couldn’t help but praise the veteran, saying, “Everyone at Richard Childress Racing remains focused on improving performance and is committed to putting the right people in place, including on the No. 8 team. Jim Pohlman is a relentless competitor in the garage and fits in well with our mission and approach at RCR. He was well-respected during his previous tenure in Welcome, and we know that he will do a great job leading the No. 8 team and Kyle Busch.”

With Pohlman replacing Randall Burnett, and Andy Street acting as an interim crew chief, it is safe to say that RCR is leaving no stone unturned to get Kyle Busch back to winning ways. But will this change bring back the good ol’ Rowdy we all know and love? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
