Kyle Larson Branded the “Worst Teammate Ever” After Apparent Chase Elliott Dirty Move at Watkins Glen

There’s no ‘I’ in the word ‘team’. However, the Hendrick Motorsports driver, Kyle Larson, arguably didn’t show the behavior expected from a teammate. At least this is what the NASCAR fans proposed, or should we say Elliott fans suggested?

On the restart, with only five laps remaining at Watkins Glen, Larson strong armed Elliott, which made him miss the corner. And later on, resulted in Larson earning his second victory this season.

In the post-race interview, Larson admitted that he is not proud of the move he made on the restart. But also added that it was his only opportunity to win and benefit them in the playoffs.

“If you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you wanted,” the lyrics of ‘Lose yourself’ by Eminem come to my mind after hearing what Larson said in the post-race interview.

All this created an uproar on social media. Especially on Twitter, NASCAR fans took sides with their favorite among the two NASCAR Cup Series teammates.

With everything that happened, the NASCAR fans on Twitter gave their thoughts on that incident, targeting, the Hendrick Motorsports driver, Kyle Larson.

Most of the fans were in their seat judging the morals Larson has as a teammate. In addition to this, they also started policing him on what he should and should not do while racing to win.

While another fan even talked about an incident that took place earlier this season at Auto Club Speedway, which showed a similar incident.

Not sure how Kyle Larson will react to the remarks on what he did. In his defense, he just wanted to win and build momentum. All in all, it’s part of racing as each driver is there to win.
