Apparently, Kyle Larson will be taking the wheel, replacing his fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammate for the forthcoming high-stakes weekend. However, the fans wanted Chase Elliott‘s replacement to take the reins instead.

Kyle Larson to replace Hendrick Motorsports counterpart ahead of a major event

Initially, Hendrick Motorsports announced Alex Bowman as the driver for the number 7 truck. However, due to an injury he sustained, the team declared that Kyle Larson would replace Bowman in that truck.

Journalist Dustin Albino stated, Kyle Larson will drive the No. 7 truck at North Wilkesboro for Spire Motorsports. Originally, Alex Bowman was going to drive it.

NASCAR fans urge Chase Elliott’s replacement to drive instead of Larson

Several fans stated they wanted to see some of the other drivers take the wheel of the number 7 truck at North Wilkesboro. Out of many of the names spoken, Josh Berry’s name was echoed a few times. Berry had performed exceptionally well during his time replacing Chase Elliott in the Cup Series. Ever since, several people had taken notice of the driver.

One enthusiast voiced, “It ought to be Berry, but so be it.”

Another expressed, “How I wish it was Berry, alas.”

A different person mentioned, “There was talk about Chase Elliott steering a truck at Wilkesboro. I’m curious if he’s in the MHR 91 or a different truck.”

One more individual noted, “Spire is solely responsible for the resurgence of Buschwhacking.”
