Now, the #5 driver will be eagerly waiting for the 2022 season to arrive. This will be his chance to earn a second consecutive championship. However, he and his teammates and rivals know that the Next Gen cars could shake things up. This is because nobody has been in these cars in a racing situation. So in essence, everyone is going into the new campaign, blind. One thing is for sure, none of the drivers will give up the ghost. It is also worth mentioning that 2022 is bringing with it a whole host of changes.

Aside from the new car, it heralds, rule changes, schedule tweaks, a new track, and many more. So, there is a lot for the Cup Series paddock to look forward to. With all of this awaiting drivers, teams and fans, 2022 will definitely be a big and exciting year.
