After the NASCAR Cup Series race in Kansas, Hendrick Motorsports driver, Kyle Larson issued a statement on his teammate after calls to fire him to make room for Kyle Busch gathered traction.

In the past few weeks, there have been speculations surrounding Kyle Busch to move into Hendrick Motorsports. During that time, many fans of the sport were seen asking for Bowman to be replaced by Busch if the deal was to fall through. Some fans had previously called that Bowman would be replaced by Kyle Busch.

However, those rumors were soon thrown out of the back door, after Kelley Crandall confirmed that Hendrick are not going to ink a deal with Busch.

After the race at Kansas, Bowman’s teammate Kyle Larson issued a statement regarding his race while also clearing the air about Bowman. In the statement, he said, “I thought Alex was the best of the four of us. I honestly thought I was probably second-best or close to Alex. I just didn’t do a good job.”
