They’re seemingly planning on ramping up the series to 50 races, with the prize money soaring to a whopping $5 million. Larson’s drive to enhance the world of dirt track racing springs from a desire to see younger drivers and racers enjoy a more prosperous career. “My passion for dirt track racing and just wanting these teens and drivers to make an even more comfortable living than what they can right now. And I want to grow it, really. My eyes got kind of open to trying to grow our sport once I got into the late models and seeing, you know, kind of how much money they race for. I was like why can’t we try and do something similar with the midweek series to give these teens and drivers and fans more opportunity to go to a racetrack and then you obviously scrub from there to your national series.”

For many aspiring racers who can’t afford to compete in the bigger series, Larson’s efforts are nothing short of a godsend. To further boost driver participation, High Limit Racing plans to dish out a $1 million point fund, with the champion team and driver bagging $250,000. Continuing the success of its 2023 season, the series might also feature a Midweek Money Series within the national tour, offering an additional $100,000 point fund.
