Kyle Larson was emotional as he crossed the checkered flag on Sunday. The feelings of winning your first title. But soon after, jubilant celebrations replaced the heart-wrenching emotions, and Larson’s wife, Katelyn Larson, joined her husband in his moment of victory.

Mrs. Larson celebrated in her own iconic way as she chugged a whole can of beer after her husband added the title of ‘NASCAR Cup Series Champion’ to his already impressive resume.

The cameras caught the magnificent moment of ‘victory’.

Kyle Larson finished the best year of his life in the best possible way he could’ve. Larson, who made a comeback in 2021, won 10 races in a season in which he broke and rewrote records on his way to fulfill the high expectations he had set for himself.

The stage was bigger than ever; the prize won was bigger than ever, so the celebration warranted by such a stage and such a prize had to be big.

But Phoenix wasn’t the only instance in which Katelyn Larson had celebrated in that fashion.

After Kyle Larson won his first Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park in 2020, Mrs. Larson chugged a can of beer in celebration.

During the 2020 NASCAR Awards in Nashville, the two hosts played a clip of Katelyn Larson chugging a beer after one of her husband’s race wins. Then, the hosts cheered Larson to recreate her celebration in the award ceremony itself.

And she obliged.

Looking at Kyle Larson’s racing career, it’s undeniable that the 29-year-old has a big appetite for racing and winning. Larson has already lifted trophies in NASCAR, Dirt Racing, Endurance Racing, and Go Karting.

The Hendrick also recently spoke of his desire to race in Formula 1 where one wouldn’t rule out him to not succeed.

Considering his racing talent and skills, it’s logical to assume that Kyle Larson will lift more trophies and earn more awards in more regions and possibly more countries as time goes by. And winning means more celebrations.

But for now, the Larsons will celebrate the current title and keep a few beer cans handy for this season’s awards in a few weeks’ time.
