Yet, excitement turned into apprehension recently. The CARS tour, a series co-owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr, witnessed a terrifying crash that left fans unsettled.

Major wreck unfolds at series owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr at a legendary track
During the CARS late-model tour on Wednesday, drivers Nick Loden and Josh Lowder experienced a terrifying collision early in the race. The heart-wrenching incident unfolded as their cars interlocked near a pit lane wall.

Unexpectedly, the white car of Lowder made contact with the yellow of Loden which was next to the wall, catapulting it into the air. Subsequently, it crashed into a barrier further down the track. The white car bore the brunt of the impact, sustaining severe damage that rendered it virtually inoperable.
Despite the shocking accident, both drivers managed to safely exit their vehicles, much to the relief of onlookers. However, this was enough to rile up the fans.

Different fan reactions have been surfacing following the incident. One spectator, after witnessing the event, expressed, “This was wild to see in person.”
Another fan, showing concern for the participants, exclaimed, “Oh my goodness! Glad they’re ok.”
Reflecting on the situation, a third individual commented, “Not an ideal start to late model day at North Wilkesboro.”
