However, Deegan could still find the ride she’s looking for, and the savior in this case for her could be thanks to Tony Stewart’s team, Stewart Haas Racing. But not exactly SHR.
You see, according to Heavy, SHR’s affiliate team, SS Green Light Racing could be the Ford team where the young NASCAR driver could find her home.
Fans disapprove of Hailie Deegan’s Xfinity promotion
Now, as good as this could turn out to be for Hailie Deegan and her future in this uncertain period, there were a considerable amount of NASCAR fans to whom this potential move simply didn’t make sense.
“I wish her the best of luck but she really hasn’t proven herself enough to get a top ride. I know she has the sponsors in Monster and Ford so eventually she will be given a chance,” one fan wrote while another claimed, “If she like Danica Patrick who needs her lol.”
A fan simply rejected the possibility by reacting, “No thank you. the last one didn’t work. They will rush her up to cup to soon,” while another emphasized, “One good run in xfinity and people thinks she’s ready for a top ride. She’ll be lucky if she gets a ride.”
