Martin Truex Jr Reveals His Special Livery for the 4th of July Weekend

Recently, Martin Truex Jr. revealed his special livery for the 4th of July Weekend in partnership with his long time sponsor ‘Auto-Owners Insurance’.

He announced in a tweet that he will be bringing out a new look for his Camry. He said, New look for our @AutoOwnersIns Camry this weekend!”

Auto-Owners Insurance is the sponsor of Martin Truex Jr. and Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 19 Toyota. The company even announced a contract extension in January. They will continue to be the sponsor through the 2021 NASCAR cup series season. The company has been the sponsor of Truex since 2016 when he drove for Furniture Row Racing.

Martin Truex Jr. scored a ‘top-10’ finish in the Pocono Race

NASCAR reports that Martin Truex Jr. finished in the ‘top 10’ in the ‘Pocono 350’ at the Pocono Raceway on Sunday. Truex began in the fifteenth position. He even led five laps in the race. The result was his seventh ‘top-10’ of the year. He was able to add 37 points to his NASCAR season total.

Truex has tasted victory at the Pocono Raceway as he has two career wins at the track. Through the span of his profession at Pocono, Truex has additionally assembled six top-five completions and 12 top-10s.

Truex’s tenth spot finish was against a field of 40 drivers. The race persevered through eight cautions and 32 caution laps. There were 12 changes in the lead position throughout the race.

Denny Hamlin earned the success in the race, and Kevin Harvick took second. Erik Jones put third, Chase Elliott took fourth, and Aric Almirola polished off the main five. After Kurt Busch won Stage 1, Brad Keselowski drove the No. 2 vehicle to success in Stage 2.

Last year, Truex earned his series-best seven wins in 2019, his first year with Joe Gibbs Racing. He enters his second year with the team with a new chief James Small.

This is his seventeenth-year driving in the NASCAR cup series. He has accumulated 27 triumphs, with 104 top-five completions and 212 top 10 finishes. He is the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion and a double NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. Additionally, he won the Xfinity series in 2004 and 2005.
