NASCAR Hall of Famer, Dale Earnhardt Jr recently made a big announcement after reaching a milestone on his Instagram account. Making the most of his achievement, Dale Jr decided to donate $1 million to charities across the country. A total of 10 cities have been shortlisted, and each one will receive $1,000,000.

Taking to his X account, the JR Motorsports co-owner wrote, “To celebrate reaching 1M Instagram followers we are going to donate $1 million to charities across the United States. @tdjf has identified a charity located in each of the top-10 cities where my followers reside, with each organization receiving $100,000.”

Along with the cities, the Dale Jr. Foundation has also identified organizations that share a common idea of giving back to the community through empowerment, education, wellness, hunger, and hope. Charlotte, Mooresville, Columbus, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, and Phoenix are the ten cities that will receive charity donations via the Dale Jr Foundation.

Jr credited this success story to his fans and supporters, who have stuck by him all these years. “It’s exciting times for the foundation, and none of this would be possible without the support from the fans and followers. To have the opportunity to give back in this way is truly special, and it’s all due to the tremendous support of the foundation.” Seeing him spread joy and give back to the community, fans showered him with love and appreciation in the comments section.

The DJF is a charity dedicated to providing means and resources to unprivileged individuals. Last year, they raised $1.3 million, which benefited 70 charity groups and organizations.
