NASCAR’s Elite, Pitbull, Honoring Harvick’s Legacy

It’s not just about the musical wonders. NASCAR’s Senior Advisor Mike Helton, Rodney Childers, and his family will be joining the tribute for Harvick. Helton, in a touching gesture, will wave the green flag, marking Tony Stewart’s final lap in South Florida. On the other hand, Childers, Harvick’s trusty crew chief, along with his family, will be on the grid to honor their long-time partner in style.

Jordan Bianchi Tweeted, “An eclectic list of individuals will have honorary roles prior to Sunday’s race at Homestead. Pitbull is the honorary pace car official, Mike Helton the honorary starter, and Rodney Childers and his family will give the command.”

Even Bob Pockrass took to social media to announce, “Rodney Childers and his family will give the command to start engines for the Cup race Sunday — the 4Ever 400 — while Mike Helton will wave the green flag. Mobil 1’s sponsorship of the race is honoring Kevin Harvick this weekend.”

But Pitbull isn’t the only sensation lighting up the event. Miami’s own Cedric Gervais, the Grammy-winning DJ, will be spinning the decks for pre-race entertainment. And let’s not forget about Manu Manzo’s National Anthem that promises to hit all the right notes and Miky Woodz adding his Latin flair as the honorary event official.

Growing up, the roars of engines and the thrill of speed were just as enthralling to me as the serene calmness and challenge of mountains. Just as Chase Elliott weaves his way through the asphalt tracks, I've found my way through some of the most challenging trekking trails, with each step taken in sync with my heartbeats resonating with the excitement of a racecar on the track. It's no wonder why I am a die-hard fan of both Chase Elliott and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Their tenacity, dedication, and sheer brilliance on the track mirror the elements I love about trekking - the dedication to push further, the challenge of the unknown, and the thrill of reaching new heights. I've climbed peaks and witnessed breathtaking vistas, and at the same time, I've written articles that garnered admiration from fellow racing enthusiasts. Whether you want to talk about Trekking or NASCAR, do reach out.
