The racing world gears up for an all-out fiesta this weekend, with the Grammy winner Armando Christian Pérez, known as Pitbull, an on-site beach bash, and a tearful farewell to a NASCAR icon. The sun-soaked atmosphere is set for the last full-time race for Kevin Harvick. But will he be outshone by Mr. 305 himself?

When SHR driver Kevin Harvick hits the throttle for the last time in the 4EVER 400 Presented by Mobil 1 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, you’d better believe it’s not just about burning rubber. Kevin Harvick, the titan of the tracks, will be honored by some of the biggest names, and not just from the racing world. Leading the chart-topping parade is Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull, and if you think it’s a surprise, wait until you see what else is in store!

It’s not just about the musical wonders. NASCAR’s Senior Advisor Mike Helton, Rodney Childers, and his family will be joining the tribute for Harvick. Helton, in a touching gesture, will wave the green flag, marking Tony Stewart’s final lap in South Florida. On the other hand, Childers, Harvick’s trusty crew chief, along with his family, will be on the grid to honor their long-time partner in style.

Jordan Bianchi Tweeted, “An eclectic list of individuals will have honorary roles prior to Sunday’s race at Homestead. Pitbull is the honorary pace car official, Mike Helton the honorary starter, and Rodney Childers and his family will give the command.”

Even Bob Pockrass took to social media to announce, “Rodney Childers and his family will give the command to start engines for the Cup race Sunday — the 4Ever 400 — while Mike Helton will wave the green flag. Mobil 1’s sponsorship of the race is honoring Kevin Harvick this weekend.”

But Pitbull isn’t the only sensation lighting up the event. Miami’s own Cedric Gervais, the Grammy-winning DJ, will be spinning the decks for pre-race entertainment. And let’s not forget about Manu Manzo’s National Anthem that promises to hit all the right notes and Miky Woodz adding his Latin flair as the honorary event official.

A fan wrote on Twitter, “Sounds like they are planning a good send-off for Harvick’s last Homestead race. Please, Stewart-Haas, let’s see Kevin in a car that is capable of winning instead of the mid-pack Rick Ware shitboxes he’s been getting most of the year.”

“As they should! (No, not biased here at all. 😁)” someone commented.

“Random Childers family member suspended prior to the command.”

“Rodney could bring a “Championship 4 special” and hope NASCAR doesn’t DQ them at their own race.”

“That would be awesome, bit unfortunately, it will still be a Ford.”
