Recently, former fiery Stewart-Haas Racing driver, Clint Bowyer revealed how costly “girl daddin’” can get. Clint’s daughter Presley Elizabeth Bowyer like any other child loves to play with her dolls and buy them accessories. Still, Papa Bowyer wasn’t expecting that he’d have to pay so much while fulfilling his daughter’s desires.

The Fox Sports commentator took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to share his stupendous expense. He captioned the post, “I just spent $133.00 on two outfits for a doll. This girl daddin’ is some kinda different. 🤯.” The emoji perfectly symbolized his mind-blown expression.

Bowyer might be taken aback for now, but there was a time when he ended a 190-race winless streak by dominating the Martinsville Speedway’s shortest track. What changed? In his own words, “That’s what’s changed — family.

Bowyer married his wife Lorra in April 2014. Shortly after, the same year, they were blessed with a son, Cash Aaron. Two years later, Presley came along on December 6. And everything eventually changed for him on the track. In 2018, leading 215 laps on the way to his first win since 2012 and ninth Cup win, Bowyer held off Kyle Busch over the final 114 laps. After returning home to Texas, he said, “Pulling into victory lane again this year with your family.

That’s what’s changed — family.  The reasons I wanted to be in victory lane weren’t selfish …  I wanted my boy in victory lane.  I wanted that picture on our wall.  I wanted him to experience that, and I want to do it over and over and over because I want them to be a part of that. That’s the biggest thing that’s changed to me.”

Over the years, many talented drivers have left the sport to be with their families, live the family life, and embrace fatherhood to the fullest. The former Cup Series driver, who was racing since the age of 5, retired from the circuit in 2020 and moved to the booth. This way he is getting more time to spend with his family. His eldest-born Cash Aaron Bowyer is also slowly maturing into a racecar driver, learning the tricks of the trade from a young age with his father showing him the way.

However, being a girl dad is more challenging. Though Bowyer is known for his offbeat commentary style and hard-hitting takes, fans literally adored the driver for getting his daughter what she asked for without taking into account how expensive it was.

Netizens react to Bowyer’s decision to get his daughter’s wish fulfilled

The 2008 Xfinity Series champion who has 10 Cup Series career wins probably might not have thought twice before getting his girl a pair of dresses for her doll. With the driver revealing the costly purchase, NASCAR nation jumped the scene with many taking on the guessing game, trying to figure out which doll she had. “Did American Girl suck your money out of your pocket?” Asked one fan while another fan wrote,  “Let me guess…. American Girl ?”

On the other hand, a fan also shared his experience of flying to L.A. just for a doll for his daughter, he wrote, “Years ago (my daughter is now 26), I not only spent a wad on dolls and doll clothes, but I flew her & I from Mobile, AL to L.A. to shop at a certain doll store.”

Another user, while poking fun at the situation replied, You didn’t know that doll clothes are more expensive than people clothes?”
