Kyle Busch continues to take digs at Logano

Having referred to Logano as a “two-faced” person who “flips the ass*** switch” a year ago on the ‘I AM ATHLETE’ podcast, Busch took this opportunity to take another sarcastic blow at the Team Penske driver.

Explaining what led to their physical altercation that left his thumb injured for months, Busch shared, “Oh so, there was a 2017 incident here in Vegas with a someone Joey Logano who just absolutely flat-out crashed me. And I knew it. Like he just floored it right in the middle of the corner and turned right up the track and slammed into my door and spun me out.”

“We were coming to the checkered flag and it was for third place. And I’m like it wasn’t even for the win, you know?”

Interestingly enough, just like Busch, the show’s co-hosts were surprised by the fact that Logano crashed him just for the bronze (that is the third position). Admitting that he did not know that ‘bronze’ was worth so much, Kyle Busch continued and explained how his reaction cost him physically.

Kyle Busch revealed his ‘grip went down after that’

Clearly upset by Joey Logano and his actions on the track, Kyle Busch broke down that walk right up to Logano after the race.

He shared, “So, I get out of my car. I march my happy a*s down pit road. And I walk right up to him and I punch him in the face. So, then his crew tackles me and I end up on the ground and I think my head hit his car or something and now I’m bleeding.”

Furthermore, he revealed that even though Logano says he wasn’t hurt by the punch, it definitely hurt Busch’s thumb. He said, “And he says he never got hit but I think he had a red mark on his face afterward so I don’t know. My thumb hurt for freaking three months after that so I swear I made contact. My grip definitely went down after that. It wasn’t the same.”

Fortunately for Busch, his actions did not attract any penalty from NASCAR. Since the altercation was a post-race incident, the governing body did not announce any penalty for Busch or Logano.
