The Chili Bowl Nationals are well underway and they are quite action packed. Unfortunately for Carson Sousa, he found that out the hard way after a big crash. As he entered the corner, another car dove down his inside and he clipped the back of that Midget car. This sent the driver out of control and into a barrel roll before going into the fence. Admittedly, although the crash looked scary, it was still a comical sight to see the car stuck like that, and even Kyle Busch couldn’t stop himself from pointing that out.
Yo, y’all remember when that we had the delay for the fence repair.#FenceHanger pic.twitter.com/M4M7HzmcIj

Honestly, the scene did kind of resemble something out of a ‘I bet you are wondering how I got here’ meme. Fortunately, Reddick was able to walk away unscathed, but the car was still stuck in the catch fence. Eventually, the track marshals were able to get it down and repair the fence, but it did delay proceedings for a while.
So… you may be wondering how he got there. https://t.co/D0izm0bQB8

Kyle Busch and others in the NASCAR community found the sight comical
Soon, a fair number of fans turned the scene into a meme and joked about it. One fan even photoshopped an image of Tyler Reddick sitting on top of the car. Later on, Reddick responded to the meme, and he also saw the funny side of the incident and meme.

Now, the Chili Bowl Nationals will continue as scheduled. Luckily for Sousa, he won the C-Main event, so it was a bit of a mixed day in the office for him. Now, he is going to try to ensure that he qualifies for the main event.
However, he is expected to face stern competition from several rivals, including a certain Kyle Larson. Larson is definitely one of the favorites, as he has won the Chili Bowl in the last two years. However, nothing will be easy for the Hendrick Motorsports star driver.
