Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and the CEO of groundbreaking companies such as Tesla and SpaceX, was recently reported to be edging closer to buying, yes buying Twitter for a deal in the ballpark of $44 billion.

Earlier it was reported that Musk was in talks and then out of them to be on the Board of Directors as a major shareholder.

But now it seems, the real-life Tony Stark has changed his mind.

The report of Elon Musk buying Twitter took social media by storm. Millions of fans and users flooded in with their stamp of approval on his potential arrival, including those from the NASCAR community.

Will Elon Musk and Tesla join NASCAR?

Earlier this year, NASCAR’s Chief Operating Officer, Steve O’Donnell, opened up on the possibility of having an entire exhibition series with electric cars. This was something that the fans didn’t take particularly well, all things considered.

But it seems NASCAR is pretty serious about this idea.

“We are exploring some opportunities around an exhibition series in that space,” O’Donnell had said.

“And as everyone knows, there’s a huge push across all of our (original equipment manufacturer) partners, and even potentially new OEM partners. So it’s important for us to explore that space,” he continued.

“I think there’s a lot of interest from our current partners to be part of that.”
