In the competitive world of NASCAR, making a name for oneself is not an easy task. Either you are known for your racing finesse or for the timelessly infamous on-track controversies. While Hailie Deegan is undoubtedly a phenom behind the wheel, she has time and again stepped into the limelight for all the wrong reasons.

Stepping into Indianapolis Raceway Park for Friday’s TSport 200 Truck Series race, Deegan aggression was on full display. Early on in the race, Hailie Deegan’s #13 Ford made contact with Landen Lewis’ #04 Chevy, causing Lewis to spin out and make contact with the outside wall. Unhappy with Deegan’s actions, Landen Lewis then bumped the #13 Ford with 59 laps remaining of the slated 200 laps. The contact sent Deegan sliding sideways across the racetrack in Turn 1, hitting the outer retaining barrier backward.
