NASCAR Cup Series 2021 Points Standings After Ryan Blaney Wins at Atlanta Motor Speedway

The NASCAR Cup Series race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway concluded recently. Ryan Blaney emerged victorious for Team Penske and he moved up to 7th in the championship.

However, Denny Hamlin continues to lead the NASCAR Cup Series points table. Meanwhile, Kyle Larson occupies second place, 43 points away from Hamlin.

In third place, Joey Logano is a further 20 points away from the Hendrick Motorsports driver. However, he has a wary eye out for Martin Truex Jr, who lies two points away from him.

Finally, Brad Keselowski rounds out the Top-5 on 206 points, with Kevin Harvick behind him on 203, the last man in the 200s.

Blaney‘s win brings his points tally to 191, ahead of William Byron’s 188. Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott are tied for 9th on 183 points, with Austin Dillon behind them on 170.

Kyle Busch is just seven points away from Dillon on 163 points, and five ahead of Michael McDowell. Meanwhile, just one point separates McDowell from Alex Bowman, and Kurt Busch lies five points away from Bowman.

How does the rest of the NASCAR Cup Series pack fare in the standings?

Chris Buescher finds himself in 16th on 144 points. Behind him is Ricky Stenhouse Jr on 138 points, with Ryan Preece just three points away from him.

From there, there is a 17-point gap to Bubba Wallace, with Ross Chastain and Ryan Newman 10 points adrift. Cole Custer is the last man in the triple digits, with 105 points under his belt.

Beyond that, Daniel Suarez has picked up 95 points, while Matt DiBenedetto has 93 points. Another two points separate Dibenedetto from Erik Jones, while Aric Almirola and Chase Briscoe are tied on 87 apiece.

From there, the list goes on until the final point-scorer in the form of Derrike Cope. Now, all the drivers will be looking forward to the next race at the Bristol dirt track.
