2022 has finally arrived, and soon the racing season will begin in earnest. Before NASCAR can get underway, most of the drivers will be keeping themselves active with some dirt racing. In the coming week, one of the biggest dirt events will take place, the Chili Bowl Nationals. This event normally attracts a number of NASCAR drivers, and the 2022 edition is no different. Obviously, the usual suspect, reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Larson will be present at the race.
Also joining him are Hendrick teammates Alex Bowman and Chase Elliott. Apart from the trio, other Cup drivers include Chase Briscoe, Christopher Bell, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, and Ryan Newman. Of course, they will not be the only ones, as Jesse Little, Santino Ferrucci, Carson Hocevar, and Tanner Berryhill will compete. JJ Yeley and Ryan Ellis will also be present at the Chili Bowl Nationals.

When will Kyle Larson and the other NASCAR drivers participate?
Of course, not everyone will be qualifying for the event together. Bowman, Elliott, and Briscoe will run on Monday, January 10th. Meanwhile defending 2-time Chili Bowl winner Larson will qualify on the 11th. The 2021 Cup Series champion will line up with Little and Ferrucci as they bid to get into the final.

On the following day, it will be Carson Hocevar and Tanner Berryhill’s turn to try to enter the event. When Thursday rolls by, JJ Yeley will compete in his 27th Chili Bowl Nationals. Also joining him on that day is Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell, who won the Chili Bowl from 2017 until 2019. The final day of qualifications sees Ricky Stenhouse Jr pitted against Ryan Newman and Ryan Ellis.
Finally, all the qualified drivers will square off against each other on Saturday in the feature races. Once everything is shaken down, the Chili Bowl Nationals will crown the 2022 champion. So now the big question is, will Kyle Larson bag a hat-trick, or will Christopher Bell seize his fourth crown; or will it be someone new?
