NASCAR Driver Parker Kligerman and Team Scores A Surprising Result in Virtual Nurburgring

Yesterday, A group of NASCAR drivers took on the virtual Nurburgring for a 24-hour challenge. The team stood at a remarkable P6 in their first attempt.

The team comprises of Parker Kligerman, Landon Cassill, Garrett Smithley, and Byron Daley. And Joshua Mendoza was the team principal for the 24-hour race. Everyone expressed their excitement over Twitter for finishing the race in their first attempt.

The team manager Mendoza tweeted after the race, “Apparently I’m now a Team Principle in Endurance E-racing, crazy times. Amazing job Parker Kligerman, Landon Cassill, Garrett Smithley, and Byron Daley for wheeling this car to the end for P6 at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. Glad to be able to bring “Nemesis” home”.

This was Landon’s and Garrett’s first time in the car and on the track. Landon ran the car all day to get his road license up to qualify and then had about two hours to learn it.

Landon tweeted, “Josh was the voice in each of our ears for 24 hours. I think he got an hour of sleep. He called all of our strategy and kept the driver lineup in order and kept us calm when we drove it off the road.”

Drivers ready for tonight’s NASCAR Pro Invitation Series race at Talladega

The team got over 28500 views on Twitch and driver Landon Cassill posted a tweet thanking the fans. Additionally, he expressed his excitement for tonight’s iRacing event.

The race will feature all of the iRacing regulars and a few NASCAR veterans for the first time. NASCAR Legend Jeff Gordan will make his Esports debut.

In addition, the top three finishers in last week’s Pro Invitational Series race at a virtual Richmond, winner William Byron, runner-up Timmy Hill and third-place finisher Parker Kligerman will start at the tail end of the field. Byron, who has won the past two Pro Invitational Series events, will start last in the 40-car field.
