After just 3 years of its inception, 23XI Racing has become one of the best teams in the Cup Series. However, by no stretch of the imagination was the journey smooth sailing. The now proud Toyota team over the years has had several setbacks. The team hit a major bump when its ace driver, Kurt Busch was out of contention due to a vicious concussion from the horrific crash at Pocono last year.

While the elder Busch is still a significant presence in the 23XI Racing camp, his recent tweet has taken the community by surprise.

As it happened, the 44-year-old updated his well-deserved new accolade on social media for his fans to see.

Moments after his tweet went online, 23XI Racing tweeted out their former driver’s milestone as well. But they did it in such a way that I got the fans talking.

23XI Racing’s Peculiar Tweet Has the Fans in Awe

With just hours to go for the highly anticipated road race at Sonoma Raceway, ardent racing fans were treated to a surprise as 23XI Racing’s former #45 driver, Kurt Busch announced his induction into the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame. While the event had Busch’s close friends and family, it also had Busch’s old-time Star Nursery crew and his former crew chief.

The 23XI team also joined the fun, sharing Busch’s achievement online with a quirky caption, while his former teammate, Bubba Wallace, and Tyler Reddick, were also a part of the post. It is Kyle Busch‘s older brother’s 2004 Cup Series championship and his 30-plus wins in the coveted series have earned him this invaluable accolade.

Kurt, on the other hand, expressed his joy as an ordinary Las Vegas native who started racing as a hobby and managed to climb up to the pinnacle of motorsports.

After his abrupt departure from the sport owing to a nasty crash that caused major concussions on him, Busch was forced to retire and stay back while the young phenom, Tyler Reddick, took his spot as the #45 driver.

Fans Jump on Board to Celebrate With Kurt Busch as They Make the Most Out of the Moment

As the team cheered the achievement of their team advisor, #23 driver, Bubba Wallace, and the Circuit of The Americas winner, Tyler Reddick joined Busch for a photo session.

The team then posted a hilarious tweet with the caption, “Our favorite guys.” This further led fans to jump on the opportunity and share their thought on the unusual post.

The #forwardtogether tag also meant hope for ardent Kurt Busch fans as they are still waiting for the return of their favorite driver back to the oval track. While Reddick and Wallace posed with Busch for the first image, the second image suggests a popular internet spider-man meme that had the fans laughing on the floor.

Some fans demanded Kurt Busch’s presence in the 2024 season, Bring #97 back for Kurt in 2024.” Whereas another fan pointed out how the tweet resembled the popular comic book meme.

On the other hand, another fan wished Tyler Reddick good luck for the upcoming race, Good luck on Sunday afternoon Tyler Reddick!!!!!!!!! You are awesome on road course win”
