NASCAR Fans Bring Out the Denny Hamlin Jokes as Ross Chastain’s Younger Brother Makes an Announcement

There have been some famous sibling duos in NASCAR history carrying on the legacy of their family name. A similar situation recently came about when fans were seen going into a frenzy about Chad Chastain entering the Xfinity series. In case you don’t know, Chad is the younger brother of the already well-known Ross Chastain.
Furthermore, the much talked about old rival of elder Chastain, Denny Hamlin was assumed to be at threat by the fans with this new debut from the melon farmer family.
What happened recently between Ross Chastain and Denny Hamlin that added further fuel to the fire?

Chad would be seen driving for DGM driving in the #91 Chevrolet Camaro. This debut is indeed going to be a riveting one for all the Chastain fans. Already owing to the expectations on the junior Chastain, fans were quick to link it with the recent encounter between his brother and Hamlin. The rivalry between the two had already never cooled down and then they recently crashed into each other at the Phoenix race. Both of them were competing for a top 5 finish when the incident occurred. The collision resulted in Denny finishing at 23rd and Chastain at 24th position.
NASCAR fans had mixed reactions to the announcement of Chad’s debut in the Xfinity series. Some believed that the younger Chastain might be a replica of the elder one and will follow the same racing style as his. While others were busy talking about how Dennis would now have to compete with two Chastains and wisecracked about his situation.

One fan even called Chase – CHADSTAIN which looked like a dig at Hamlin. Some also thought that with lack of experience, Chad would have a hard time on the track. Either way, his debut has been a heated topic of discussion among NASCAR followers.

Gosselin is indeed looking forward to this venture with Chad. The junior Chastain has driven in the Truck Series before and is very excited about this advancement.

The expectation bar is now set even higher by the brothers. Will the junior Chastain eventually act as a menace for Hamlins? Only his career at Xfinity Series can tell. Till then, we can wait for his brother’s performance in Atlanta on Saturday.
