Interesting how @dennyhamlin and danielsuarez say it was raining for one whole lap, but other drivers like Rowdy say it started raining right before they crashed. Of course Hamlin, says that because he wanted Nascar to let him win.

NASCAR fans disagreed with Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin
It is worth mentioning that a number of fans slammed the #11 driver for his comments. Some jokingly asked if the officials had ‘superpowers’ to predict the weather and throw a caution, accordingly.
Others believed that he was only whining because he was leading at the time, and a stoppage could have resulted in a win.

Some observed that Hamlin and Daniel Suarez reported that it had been raining for a whole lap, and others said that it rained just before the crash.

One thing is for sure, a fair number of fans tried to paint him as a big villain. Having said that, it was a very nasty wreck, and a number of drivers visited the infield medical center.
Hamlin was one of them, as he received an almighty whack during the impact. Fortunately, it seems like everyone was able to walk away in one piece and without any lasting injury.
