What else did NASCAR fans say about the accident?

Some fans knew that the accident could have been a lot worse, because Short’s car got a lot of air time. Nevertheless, a few declared that the drivers were ‘tough as nails’ to survive such a violent crash. It is worth mentioning that both Short and Helt were competing for a spot in the feature race. However, one would have to admit that the crash was a bit unnecessary. Though if we’re being honest, desperate times called for desperate measures. On the other end of the spectrum, there were still five laps to go. So he could have afforded to hang back a little bit and tried again later on when he was in a better position.

In the end, everyone is just glad that whoever was involved in the accident, were alright.
