There’s something about details and the little things that is just so fascinating. The more you look into something, the more you discover about it. Perhaps that was also the case when one NASCAR fan looked too hard into the name of Chase Elliott.

Ahead of the Cup Series race at Watkins Glen, Hendrick Motorsports posted a promotional photo of all their four drivers along with their names in text.  However, there was one thing about the name, or at least, the way it was written, about NASCAR’s most popular driver.

That thing was the fact that Chase Elliott’s name is a trademark.

Naturally, as you’d expect, this sent the other NASCAR fans down a merry-go-round ride as they reacted about this peculiar little observation with the name of the 2020 Cup Series champion.

Chase Elliott set to race in Nitro Rallycross after Phoenix

It was recently announced that Chase Elliott will, in fact, be returning to the Nitro Rallycross race after the end of the NASCAR season. The event itself will take place in Phoenix on November 12 and November 13.

The Hendrick Motorsports has already driven in the race as he finished in 8th place last year when the event took place in Florida.

Speaking about his participation in the race, Elliott expressed his excitement.

“I’m so excited to bang doors again with Travis at Nitro Rallycross in Phoenix,” he said. “Last year was so much fun. I had a blast driving — the track was unreal. Flying over gap jumps definitely took some getting used to at first.”

“The thrill of putting your skills to the test on a course like this while competing against the best in rallycross is something I couldn’t get enough of.”
