Yes, it’s been a while since he bid farewell to NASCAR and full-time racing, but Dale Earnhardt Jr’s popularity in the sport is still intact. And that’s not just amongst the fans. It’s also inside the sport too among the drivers and all those involved.
This was all the more clear after his recent tweet.
The thing is, Dale Jr. had invited Joe Gibbs Racing driver and 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin as his guest on a recent episode of his show, The Dale Jr. Download.

Now, this led to many NASCAR fans suggesting who Dale Jr. should invite next on his podcast as they reacted to his tweet.
Would like to see @TonyStewart and @LeahPruett_TF Not exactly Nascar but would probably be a good podcast.

I think @CarsonHocevar would be pretty interesting to have on the download. Maybe not the most popular opinion but just a newer driver to come on there and have conversation maybe would be cool.

Speaking about the late-race controversy in Texas, Hamlin said, “If they were going to bend the rules, then just let him come and fix it. At no reason, should we ever be letting a driver out there with no window net up.”
