On the spectrum of most expressive on one side and very stoic on the other, you don’t need to think too hard to answer where would you place Chase Elliott. But then again, there are moments that make you question your decision on the same.

Moments of high tension, moments when the driver gets mad.

Moments like the one we saw after the race at Watkins Glen International.

In a video posted by journalist Jeff Gluck, Elliott can be seen showing his displeasure, his frustration, and perhaps his anger toward his two Hendrick Motorsports bosses, Rick Hendrick, and Jeff Gordon.

This was after his teammate, Kyle Larson made a questionable move on him towards the end of the race and took the win.

But the thing is, the way Elliott was explaining whatever he was explaining, didn’t sit right with NASCAR fans. In fact, many of them called out the #9 driver on his rudeness and his behavior in front of the two senior personalities that are above him in many ways.

The Hendrick bosses have yet another Chase Elliott-Kyle Larson situation at hand

It goes without saying that Rick Hendrick, Jeff Gordon, and all the senior officials at HMS would try their best to resolve the tension, if any, between Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson, especially at this stage of the season.

However, this isn’t the first time they would be doing so.

Earlier this year, during the race at Fontana, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott were part of a similar incident as the one in the Glen, with the same outcome as well. In fact, both of Larson’s wins this season have come at the expense of his teammate’s displeasure.

The difference between the two was in Fontana, Elliott made his frustration very evident, whereas this time around, it was very suppressed.

Nevertheless, Rick Hendrick has another situation at hand involving two of his biggest stars.

With stakes so high heading into the playoffs, will there be peace between Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott?

Time will tell.
