Back in 2017, Kyle Busch marched on all by himself to Joey Logano’s pit and whacked the living daylights out of him. Remembering the infamous fight between the two, a few years later, Busch described what the moment felt like and also touched upon what he told Logano after he called to apologize to Busch.

Busch stated, “So he’s seen the NASCAR fights. These NASCAR fights are wimp fights, right? Like it’s a little bit of uh, uh, uh, and then somebody gets in and pulls them apart. So he’s like I’m tired of seeing that shit. I wanna see somebody just **** blow up and clock a dude, you know? So I always remember that alright, let’s do it. So I get out of my… I never said anything on the radio, nothing to my team like hey, come with me I’m gonna go whip this boy’s ass, like nothing. Kept it all to myself.”

He added, “I got out of my car. I marched my happy ass down pit road, and I turned right into where he was and I just pulled it back and let it rip. And hit him right across the face and then of course I got the one hit in because the whole rest of the fight was all these dudes pulling us apart. They drag me to the ground and I come up bleeding. I must have hit myself on the front of the car or something. Uh so anyways yeah.”

Joey Logano then later called Kyle Busch to apologize for the incident

Even though Logano decided to call up Busch and apologize for what transpired between them on track, Busch was having none of it and shared that he had other plans. Busch being Busch, wasn’t taking a simple “sorry” for an answer.

Busch further stated, “That was that moment and so, NASCAR actually got us together and took us into the hauler, before the next race happened and we had a meeting. Well during that week before we got to that meeting, I actually did, Logano called me to apologize, like ‘hey, I’m sorry, whatever, blah blah blah and I told him, I want you to bring your data.”

“Because we have data in these cars, it’ll tell your steering, brake, and gas, so you know what the drivers doing. So I told him to bring your data into this NASCAR meeting and we’ll fucking talk about it.”

The fight between the two soon became regarded as one of the most infamous brawls that happened on track between drivers. Though not nearly as intense as the epic Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski mosh pit, the only thing that stood out was seeing, Busch march all alone with the one-man army spirit to fight Logano, who was surrounded by his crew members.
