NASCAR Insider Gets Shut Down as Fans Dismiss Ross Chastain’s Dale Earnhardt Comparison as Pure Fiction

NASCAR is certainly one of the biggest events in North America. With over 1 million viewers in its last race at Dover International Speedway alone, the sport has truly evolved to be the motor sporting giant it is today. Reacting to the eventful and exciting race at the speedway, popular NASCAR veteran, Brett Griffin felt the heat as fans openly disagreed with his comparison of Ross Chastain to the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr.

The NASCAR insider joined the popular Dirty Mo Media podcast to discuss his thoughts on the recent happenings, and he sure did create much more than a debate when he asked his co-hosts the controversial question. In fact, he was met with stiff fan comments when he drew out a comparison between ‘The Intimidator’ and the Trackhouse Racing driver.

The Kaulig Racing spotter dropped down to the studio, joining the panel. Reflecting on last week’s intense race at Dover where the #1 driver played the antagonistic role with his super-aggressive racing style, Griffin was tempted to draw out a comparison that later turned out to be highly disputed in the community.

He asked, “Is this guy the new Dale Earnhardt in terms of how he races? Are people intimidated by Ross Chastain, is that a fair question?” While the co-host, Casey Boat takes her time as she lays out her view on this. Despite the race being bumpy, and Chastain wrecking 2 of his fellow drivers, she thinks that the driver doesn’t actually dedicate himself to wrecking his competitors but rather he finds himself stumbling upon these situations.

Boat also disagreed with Griffin as she feels Chastain lacks that intimidating factor. Further down the conservation, Griffin admitted his intentions as he exclaimed, “Ross Chastain ain’t Dale Earnhardt, no s**t, I know that!” Well, the man got what he wanted, soon after the episode went online, fans had an overwhelming response to the post.

Reacting to the Instagram post, the NASCAR community quickly went on to comment on their thoughts, some even took the chance to jab in some pokes at the organization. While many elaborated their take on the matter, this debatable topic attracted a number of creative reactions from the fans.

A fan wrote, He’s more Ernie Irvin than Dale Earnhardt”

At the same time, some others pointed out how it is not Chastain but NASCAR that the drivers may be afraid of.
