Wallace didn’t really apologize for his actions for a while. In fact, fans were waiting for over a day to hear from him and we still had nothing until 23XI boss, Denny Hamlin spoke on his behalf. And Petty addressed this as he called Wallace out.

Petty said, “In a world of social media where we post everything. Silence sometimes say more than the words that are written. We just needed to find a little on the short run and get the balance where we needed it, and it would have been just like Kansas. Now the car’s junk.”
