Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bob Pockrass reports that the legendary team Front Row Motorsports has scheduled an announcement to reveal their 2025 NASCAR Cup Series driver lineup as part of their plans to expand to a three-car operation in 2025 after purchasing an additional charter. This comes just days after Stewart-Haas Racing’s Noah Gragson suggested that he may have news regarding his future soon and now has everyone looking to-and-fro between the two. The timing is uncanny and one can’t help the speculations from rising that it could potentially mean he will be joining them!

After Stewart-Haas Racing announced its closure, Gragson had been under the radar of several teams as he had set off in search of a potential 2025 Cup Series ride, and Richard Childress Racing did emerge as a probable landing spot among the many options. However, now with the availability of the Front Row Motorsports charter may also provide a more straightforward path for Gragson to secure a full-time Cup Series ride.

Now as everyone begins to join the dots between these coincidences, NASCAR fans and the media will be closely watching the team’s YouTube channel to see who will be joining the Front Row Motorsports lineup for the 2025 season. Back in 2023, Gragson struggled with the No. 42 team at Legacy Motor Club, managing only one top-15 finish, this coupled with him being suspended by the team and NASCAR for a social media incident was a nightmare for the driver. However, the 2024 season has been a different story for the 25-year-old driver.

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season has been a significant turnaround for this rookie yearn and it came shortly after joining Stewart-Haas Racing that Gragson had shown incredible improvement in his performance and consistency through the races.

Through the first 11 races of 2024, Gragson has averaged a 17.3 finish position, a vast improvement over his 27.6 average finish during the same stretch in 2023. He has already scored four top-10 finishes, including a career-best third-place result at Talladega Superspeedway. There’s no doubt that top team won’t be looking to recruit him based on this alone.

The announcement for the new driver has come at a crucial time for the rookie and the Front Row Motorsports team as they are aiming to build on their consistent success over the years, particularly at superspeedways and short tracks. They currently hold four Cup Series victories to their name, with two of those wins coming from Michael McDowell, including the 2021 Daytona 500. So if things work out in Gragson’s favor, then this opportunity could be life-changing for the SHR driver!
