Now, the Couch Racer Shop has managed to sell enough merchandise to get a private jet flight to Talladega. Admittedly, the primary objective was to buy a private jet for the company. However, they were not going to complain about getting a chance at flying in a private jet.

What to expect from the NASCAR race at Talladega

Currently, Kraft is acting as a spotter for Bubba Wallace, who starts in a fine 9th place. Meanwhile, Griffin’s own driver, Daniel Hemric, is a few places ahead in an impressive 3rd place. Of course, qualifying is one thing, and the race could be a completely different matter. All that Kraft and Griffin need to do is ensure that their respective drivers make it out of the race in one piece.

The Talladega Superspeedway is a track that has seen a fair number of big wrecks in the past, as well as this weekend. Wallace and Hemric will be keen to keep their noses clean and try to secure a good result. For Bubba Wallace in particular, it could be a chance to try and snatch a second career win. Coincidentally, the first win came at the Talladega Superspeedway, last year itself.

Admittedly, there was a bit of a debate about whether he deserved the win or not. In light of this, the African-American driver will be eager to prove a point to all of his critics. If he can grab a Cup win on home soil in a more ‘legitimate’ manner, it will come a long way in earning him some respect.
