During a recent episode of Door Bumper Clear podcast NASCAR spotter, Brett Griffin describes the peculiar thing about Ross Chastain. Brett went on to make references and compared him with Dale Earnhardt to make a point about Chastain.

Brett said, “Only thing Ross has done all year, is pissed off a bunch of people. He’s got AJ Allmendinger mad at him, got Joey Logano mad at him, he’s got Denny Hamlin mad at him I’m sure I can keep going. He’s sitting there pretty much locked in going to round 3 of this playoff based on the playoff points and how fast he is.”

He added, “He’ll do anything the sponsor asks him to do. If you say Ross we need you to drive down to Florida in seven hours and do a 15-minute autograph session he’ll literally feel like he’s gonna tell you yes.”

“You don’t get that out of the guys at the cup series. Very humble guy, hardworking blue-collar guy, and when he’s gotta wreck to win guess what, he’ll do it. He’s like the Dale Earnhardt nice guy. Dale Earnhardt was not a nice guy on the racetrack.”
