NASCAR Spotter Rips Apart Ungrateful Kyle Busch for “Terrible” Comments Against Joe Gibbs: “M&M Has Invested Hundreds of Millions of Dollars”

When Kyle Busch was questioned about his future at Joe Gibbs Racing, the #18 driver had a less than ideal response. And not just in the sense of revealing information, but in the sense of lacking gratitude.

It was almost insulting to his boss, Joe Gibbs, his team, and all of his sponsors, the people who made him who he is. At least that’s how NASCAR spotter, Brett Griffin feels.

In a recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Griffin dived deep into his frustration with Busch’s comments, and the way he said what he said.

“M&M’s has invested hundreds of millions of dollars into Kyle Busch,” Griffin said. “They have supported Kyle Busch, they have made him worth tens of millions of dollars. They have afforded him the opportunity to be at Joe Gibbs Racing.”

“I felt his remarks were negative and terrible towards Joe Gibbs, Joe Gibbs Racing, and every sponsor he’s ever had while he’s been there. These guys picked him up, offered him a gigantic contract to drive for them,” he continued.

“I did not detect any gratitude towards any of that with what he had to say.”

No top team would “realistically afford” Kyle Busch

After expressing his displeasure with Kyle Busch’s comments, Brett Griffin went on to speak about, or rather, raise a question about the Joe Gibbs Racing driver’s future should he not continue with JGR – “Who can afford to hire Kyle Busch other than Joe Gibbs Racing?”

Griffin added that Stewart Haas Racing might just be the only top team that would look at Busch and thinks of him as their potential driver in the future.

He certainly doesn’t fit “the Penske mold,” the spotter believes, and neither is he going back to Hendrick Motorsports.

Griffin added how there are only a few teams that can “realistically afford” the two-time Cup champion, that only a few teams would give the notorious driver “an opportunity to win.”

“And when he doesn’t win, he acts like a little baby,” he added.
