In today’s day and age, one must always tread carefully on social media and public forums. Last year, Kyle Larson found that out the hard way and paid the price.

Unfortunately, it appears that Hailie Deegan uttered some insensitive language during a Twitch stream on Sunday. She would hope she does not get into trouble with the David Gilliland Racing team.

When it happened to Kyle Larson, he got into major trouble and the Chip Ganassi Racing team sacked him. It took a while before he was forgiven and the Hendrick Motorsports team recruited him.

How has Hailie Deegan performed in NASCAR so far?

Deegan’s NASCAR career is just budding, and this is her debut Truck season. Hailie Deegan would not want to jeopardize her career before it even began.

The youngster made her NASCAR Truck Series debut at Kansas Speedway in the 2020 season. She ran the race for DGR-Crosley, which is now David Gilliland Racing.

In the race, Deegan finished in 16th place, which is the highest finish for a female driver on her debut in the NASCAR Truck Series.

In 2021, Deegan is set to run her first full-time season with the team in the NASCAR Truck Series. It will be a huge challenge, after a year in the ARCA Series for the youngster. However, this is a major opportunity for any driver who is looking to perform at the top level of stock car racing.

Earlier, in the 2020 season, she finished second at Daytona in the ARCA Series. By doing so, she tied the best result registered by a female athlete in the ARCA Series.

Deegan is currently in her second year as a development driver for manufacturer Ford. She was previously a Toyota development driver.
