But not many people know that Natalie has struggled with rheumatoid arthritis for some time now. In a bid to motivate her followers, she posted pictures of herself playing the popular VR rhythm game ‘Beat Saber’.

Her Instagram post read, “Let’s talk… I have struggled with rheumatoid arthritis my whole life, working out can be difficult some days and for the past week my knees have been twice the size and it’s been hard to get dressed and walk around the house.”

Natalie Decker urged her followers to ‘move a little extra’

The chronic disorder supposedly leads to pain and discomfort in and around the body’s joints. But despite the hardships, Decker showed that she was trying her level best to overcome the pain.

“This @beatsaber game on Oculus helps me forget about the pain, have fun, and MOVE!! Moving and staying active is so hard when your in so much pain.”

The caption of the post continued, “I just wanted to share these pictures of me playing this game and having a good time. To show you all who are struggling as well with chronic pain… I hope it inspires you to move a little extra today!!”

In a recent video of hers, however, she admitted that there weren’t any firm plans in place for 2021. But saying so, she did state that there were a few road racing commitments that she was aiming to fulfill next year.

She is still part of the Niece Motorsports’ development program. Therefore, even though her plans for 2021 are unclear as yet, there is a possibility that Natalie could return to race with the team in the Truck Series next year.
