NASCAR Stars Bubba Wallace and Chase Elliott Engage in Hilarious Banter on Social Media

When outside the car, many NASCAR drivers love to drop their professional masks and just goof around. In light of this, Bubba Wallace posted a picture on Instagram comparing Chase Elliott and Wallace’s dog, Asher. Apparently, new images surfaced where Elliott was seen sporting a handlebar mustache.

Apparently, Asher also had a similar handlebar mustache on his upper lip. As a form of banter, Wallace asked who wore it better, and the replies were instantaneous.

Even Elliott himself got in on the action, and surprisingly, he chose the dog. Evidently, the Hendrick Motorsports driver felt that he could not pull off the look.

On a more serious note, Chase Elliott has other things to worry about. To be precise, Elliott has to be concerned about his title defense when the 2021 Cup Series season kicks off.

How will Chase Elliott and Bubba Wallace perform in 2021?

Truthfully speaking, it is very difficult to judge a driver’s performance in the new season. Especially since they have not begun testing yet, thus no parameters have been set down. However, going by last year’s performance, Chase Elliott is definitely one of the favorites to win another Cup Series title.

Furthermore, nobody knows how good the 23XI Racing team is on the track. The outfit has a lot of hopes and aspirations, and a talented driver behind the wheel. Speaking of which, Wallace has been well-known to outperform the capabilities of his own car. His time with the Richard Petty Motorsports team has proven that on many occasions.

Now, Chase Elliott and Bubba Wallace will be keen to go racing once again. The two drivers have a lot to prove to their respective teams and many opponents to fend off. One thing is for sure, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season will definitely be one to watch.
